Brotherhood Synagogue Nursery School seeks experienced early childhood teacher to join our wonderful staff for the 2023/2024 school year. BSNS fosters the growth of each child in a nurturing environment that supports all areas of development and encourages emerging independence. As a Jewish, play-based preschool, we believe in flexibility within structure allowing children a great deal of opportunity for exploration and discovery as they seek meaning in the world. We work hand-in-hand with parents to form partnerships of trust and to set appropriate goals for children. BSNS is comprised of experienced, loving teachers who work collaboratively to promote the best outcomes for our students. We are the ideal setting for children to grow, learn and play.

Required Qualifications:
• Have previous experience teaching in an early childhood setting.
• Hold a degree (associate, bachelor's or master's) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Knowledge of Jewish traditions and holidays.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop an engaging environment, explorations, and an imaginative curriculum.
• Appreciate being a part of an innovative community, sharing and learning from other professionals.
• Ability to be an active participant in the care and safety of young children, including lifting and attending to their personal care.
We are a half-day preschool program that runs from 8:50-12:30 Monday- Thursday with an extended day option for children until 1:45. Dismissal on Fridays is 12:30.
